SNOMED/RF2 Terminology Server
Overview
Welcome to the documentation and resource home for the West Coast Informatics SNOMED/RF2 Terminology Server. This has been developed as a resource for the interested community of developers working with SNOMED and related terminologies. The product is offered for use under an Apache 2 license (see Features) and you are welcome to simply begin using it.
If you are interested in more guided help or support, please contact us at info@westcoastinformatics.com. We are happy to offer a service to get an environment set up within your IT infrastructure, loaded with your data, and customized for your security requirements. Please play around on our reference deployment site to get a feel for the APIs and the data model. We've put a VERY basic user interface on top of the server with a link to the API documentation so you can see the various REST APIs available.
We have successfully loaded this tool with a variety of terminologies, including the full and snapshot versions of the SNOMED CT International Edition, as well as full and snapshot versions of the US Edition of SNOMED CT. In addition, we have been successful loading ClaML based terminologies (such as ICD10) and others that are compatible with being converted to a ClaML representation.
This page documents resources, links, and other information to support the SNOMED Terminology Server.

The documentation pages below are under development still and so may not be entirely accurate. At this time, this terminology server supports a complete read-only environment for accessing terminologies. Future development initiatives will bring semantic searching, editing, quality assurance, and release features to support a full end-to-end editing environment for terminologies that can be represented using this data model.
